"Dear Little Sister"

"Dear Little Sister" was my final production for Movietech Film and Television College that won an award at the 2019 Graduation Ceremony. It is a film dedicated to Cara-Leigh O'Shea. The story is of two extremely close sisters who are seperated when college and growing up take them down separate paths.

Volkswagen Advertisement

This was an individual Micro Movie project produced at Movietech Film and Television College. Ashleigh O'Shea received both positive and critical feedback. She was dropped the day of the shoot by one of the actors and had to bring her younger sister, Cara-Leigh, at the last minute. Volkswagen was very generous and kind for allowing her to use their garage as well as a R 300 000 2018 Volkswagen Arteon free of charge for the video.

Dancing With Noleen

Dancing With Noleen was a group assignment for a Street Documentary project at Movietech Film and Television College. After the original idea proved too dangerous due to violent strikes at the time, Ashleigh O'Shea as group leader, took action and came up with a new concept and organized this production in a day. The team put in great effort and ended up getting the highest marks in the school.

War

War is a song about the daily struggles the youths of South Arica face on the rough streets of their townships, where most live in shacks. Poverty and crime are amongst the biggest issues of South Africa and very overlooked. This young and upcomiing artitst,Emilio Patron, performed this song at the Northern Cape Fusion Weekend and dedicatedit to a young boy who was stabbed to death just a few weeks before.

The Northern Cape Fusion Weekend

The Northern Cape Fusion Weekend is an annual high fashion event hosted by eMODELS. It features some of South Africa's newest and freshest young designers breaking through in the fashion industry. The clothing was showcased by some of Kimberley's most talented models.

Beyond

Beyond is a short film created ask a school project. The object of the task was lighting. How well can filmmakers use their light? Ashleigh O'Shea just couldn't say no. The story is in honour of her late grandmother, Ann O'Shea, passed away before she got to see the beginning of BonRo Studios. The concept is what O'Shea believes happens...when no one is looking.

A Night At Bozzy's

A Night At Bozzy's is BonRo Studios' debut film. Also created as a school project, O'Shea originally misread the task given to her,and instead of creating a thirty second scene involving two characters, and a single object, she directed and produced a five minute film involving seven characters and a fun plot. This film did get her invited to attend a short course in England, but due to lack of funding, she was sadly unable to attend.
