Cara-Leigh performing Jolene at a fashion held in honour of Women Activism Month, in a protest against the abuse of women and children. O'Shea and a duo of rock stars got the crowd to their feet at this important and lively event.

Cara-Leigh O'Shea performed at DS Vocal Studios' end of year production. For her solo performances, she sang classics like "Jolene" and "Eye of the Tiger."

Ashleigh O'Shea dancing at a fun day at Yonder Village. Yonder Village is a home for all those suffering from a mental illness. 

Ashleigh O'Shea was stage manager for this modelling event hosted by eModels while Cara-Leigh enjoyed the chaos that came with dressing and applying make-up to the frantic models. 

The O'Shea sisters at an art exhibition with art from Yonder Kids, a home for mentally-challenged children. The art showcased some fabulous out-of-the-box-thinking, proving that  just because you are different, doesn't mean you cannot do great things

October 21 2017, Ashleigh O'Shea finally walked the catwalk in CANSA's Matrieknooi held at Biker's Church. By the end of her campaigning, she has raised over R4000. After an interview with the judges' the previous day, O'Shea took to the stage with confidence. The other contestants wore beautiful dresses and after a night of fun competition, the winners were announced. O'Shea placed fourth overall. But she has claimed that "it was never about the crown. It was for fun, to say goodbye to high-school. I had an incredible experience and would do it all over again."

In November 2017, Ashleigh O'Shea was sound technician at her sister Cara-Leigh's modern exams. Cara-Leigh got the highest marks in her class, with 98%. 

Ashleigh O'Shea had the greatest of meeting her favourite Indie rock/pop band, South African native band, The Parlotones. 

Although campaigning for CANSA, Ashleigh always  likes to help out where she can.

During her campaign for Miss Matieknooi, Ashleigh O'Shea had a raffle at the hair salon, Hiaworx. By buying a Matrieknooi ticket, the entries stood a chance of winning a blow wave, cut and color to the value of R1500. Seen above is the lucky draw to see who the winner of the special prize would be. 

Ashleigh O'Shea showed team spirit for the Matrieknooi fundraising day at the Diamond Pavilion where she and the other beautiful young women sold goodies and treats in id of CANSA. 

Ashleigh O'Shea was invited to preach about the importance of staying healthy in order to prevent cancer. She spoke to the kids of the Apostolic Church about a healthy diet, and fun exercises to do keep fit. 

Ashleigh O'Shea became such an inspiration to the children of the Apostolic Church that she was invited to attend their concert at the end of the day. It was there that she approached the adults about the dangers of smoking hubbly, since many youths in the poorer areas are smoking it. Ashleigh was on a mission to prevent young children from these dangers. She also handed out pamphlets about hubbly and how to become a member of CANSA, in order to donate and help others. She also sold buffs given to her by CANSA. All the money from the fundraising and selling of the buffs went towards CANSA to further help them help others.

Ashleigh O'Shea was asked by the Kimberley Library as an ambassador for CANSA to help the children with fun art projects during the holiday program  hosted by the library during every school holiday, preventing kids from hanging out on the streets. Seen here are the children from the Apostolic church who attended the holiday program with their Sunday school teacher.  

On the 13th of September, Ashleigh O'Shea held a fitness day for the kids of the Nali'bali book Club. Prizes were won in fun games, like racing and who was the best dancer.  As an avid lover of fitness as well, her goal was to educate children on how to stay healthy to prevent cancer. 

In aid of CANSA'S Matrieknooi, Ashleigh O'Shea held a 'Crazy Hat Dy Photo Challenge,where people paid R5 to enter and got their picture taken in crazy hats! The raffle was held at the end of the day, and these were the six lucky winners. 

Ashleigh O'Shea was selling tickets for the Matrieknooi pageant and asked for donations in support of the organization. 

In 2017, Ashleigh O'Shea took part in the annual, local beauty pageant Matrieknooi, which is a pageant for final-year students to model their dresses. The contestants become ambassadors for CANSA, an organization dedicating to helping families with patients suffering from cancer (specifically children), and partake in fundraising and charity events. Seen here is Ashleigh O'Shea, reading to her book club and educating them on the prevention of cancer.  

Ashleigh O'Shea once again had the greatest honor of being the stage manager at the Noleen Andrews School of Dance end of year performance 'Showstoppers' where the dancers performed some magical numbers including 'Can-Can' and 'Be Our Guest'. Cara-Leigh O'Shea worked hard backstage as backstage dresser yet again proving that a job never gets boring when you're working with fun and lively people!

'Glitz and Glam' was a glow in the dark theme fashion show where the models from modelling company eModels wore glows that lit up when the lights went out. The O'Shea sisters did ticket sales on the evening of this glamorous event.

Ashleigh O'Shea was the videographer at the Northern Cape Fusion Weekend hodted by eModels at the Flamingo Casino on the 5th and 6th of May, 2017. Cara-Leigh O'Shea was backstage dresser and make-up artist.
